The site’s supplied code uses no analytics, advertising cookies or third-party embeds. Reading the research does not require optional tracking.
Cookies and localStorage are different.
Cookies are small values browsers can send with requests to a website. localStorage keeps values in the browser for a particular site and does not automatically send them with each request. Both are forms of device storage and should be explained clearly.

What is not saved?
The contact composer does not save your name, email address, draft or preview in cookies or localStorage. Copy places text on the clipboard at your request. Download creates a file on your device. Leaving the page discards the in-page draft, subject to your browser’s own session-restoration behaviour.
Changing or removing storage
Use the controls above to change or clear the preference saved by this site. You can also remove site data in your browser settings. In private browsing, or where storage is blocked, the choice may not persist. A preference saved in one browser or device does not automatically apply to another.
